Who can drive one of your vans?
Anyone over 25, with over 3 years driving experience and a license with no major endorsements. Younger drivers maybe acceptable but this is done on an individual basis and will be subject to an extra premium. There is a standard excess of £250 for drivers over 25.
What does it cost?
Variable, but rates go from £50-£100 per day and include insurance and breakdown in the UK. Our daily rate is the price you pay, no hidden costs!! Unles you have a young driver or are going to Europe/ROI. European tours require green card cover at £75 per 7 days
We do not pay for your fuel!!
Do i need a deposit?
Yes, this depends on the length of the tour but on average 10% of the hire cost to be paid within 1 week of booking the van and %50 of the cost at the start of the tour. If you have problems with a deposit then talk to us.
What are the hire periods?
Hire period goes from 10am-2 pm to 10am-2pm next day.
When can we pick it up/drop it of??
As above, between 10am and 2pm
Where do we pick it up drop it off?
Glasgow
Unit 3, 61 Kilbirnie Street, Glasgow. Nearest Subway West Street or Bridge Street next to the Carling Academy
Edinburgh
Pickups by prior arrangement at
Hermiston Gait Retail Park, right next to Edinburgh Park Station and close to major bus routes and road links.
Ok, I want to book how do I do it?
Email is best, email your dates budget etc to info@aigglasgow.com If you want to call us, phone the office on 0141-429-2005 during standard office hours.
Can we pick it up the night before?
If the van is available then you may get it the night before but please do not rely on this!! If you need to leave at 6am then you really should be booking the day before.
We won’t be back until late afternoon early evening, is this ok?
All vans must be back at the agreed time, we work on tight time schedules, the van you are in maybe going back out to another band. If you are running late then always phone and let us know but we reserve the right to charge you an extra days hire.
Will you clean up all the rubbish we left in the van?
Please remove all rubbish from the vans on return or you may be charged a valet fee of £50
