DROP OFFS BETWEEN 10am-12pm
PICK UPS BETWEEN 12pm-2pm.

Pick-ups/Drop-offs can be available outwith these times but must be pre-arranged with prior notice.
Vans are to be picked up and returned at the agreed time, any late returning vans maybe charged at the extra daily rental rate


Payment
Upon booking the van a deposit will need to be made to secure the dates. This could be from 10 to 50% depending on the hire, to be arranged at the time of booking.

Full payment is to be made in advance on the day, unless otherwise arranged. If the hire requires an invoice the appropriate name and address of the persons to be invoiced must be provided. All payment are due by the end of the hire unless otherwise arranged.
Payment should made in cash or cheque, credit cards can be taken with prior notice


Cancellations
In the event of cancellation we reserve the right to hold on to any deposit paid.
For hires cancelled within 1 week of the hire, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the hire cost.
For hires that are cancelled within 48 hours of the start date, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the hire.


WHILE OUT ON ROAD
Hirers are responsible for paying any speeding/parking/congestion fines/charges. If we receive any such penalties on your behalf you will be subject to a £20 admin charge on top of the penalty charge.
The Hirer is responsible for any fixtures and fiting on the van and will be charged for any missing or damaged features


Please remove all rubbish before returning. If the vans are not returned in an acceptable condition then you may be charged up to £50 for a valet.


HIRER AND DRIVERS LIABILITY The driver although not maybe the hirer is also, along with the hirer bound by all the terms and conditions of this hire agreement and It is the responsibility of the hirer(s) to ensure no one takes control of the vehicle other than the agreed drivers.
Drivers are to be 25+ and held a UK license for 3 years, no major endorsements. Both paper and card licence must be produced at time of hire for all drivers and a copy to be held by D Fowler Maintenance
It is the drivers and hirers responsibility to check the oil, water and tyres on a daily basis. Any mechanical problems arising with the van due to not performing the agreed checks will render the customer liable for subsequent repairs.
Any tyre, wheel, or windscreen damage is the responsibility of the hirer and will be charged for.
The vehicle is regularly serviced and maintained but the lessor will not accept any liability for any losses suffered by the hirer as a result of breakdown or any mechanical default, including as a result of not being able to honour any contractual obligations, during the hire period other than by agreement between the lessor and hirer.

In the event of a breakdown or accident the hirer must notify us immediately. The hirer must not carry out any repairs to the vehicle whilst on the road without notifying us first.


Insurance
The driver agrees to participate as an insured under an automobile insurance policy, a copy of which is available for inspection by hirer at the headquarters office of lessor. If the hirer so elects he will comply with the terms and conditions of the said policy and, in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing will, in the event of an accident in which he or the vehicle is involved will:
.1. Obtaining names and addresses of parties involved .2. Not admitting liability or guilt or giving money to any persons involved .3. Not abandoning the vehicle without adequate provision for safeguarding and securing same .4. Call the lessor by telephone (transfer charge) even in case of slight damage; further completing lessor’s accident report, including diagram as required on return of vehicle and; .5. Notifying the police immediately if another party’s guilt or liability has to be ascertained, or if any person is injured. .6. Do nothing to render the policy invalid or voidable
That Hirer hereby releases and indemnifies Lessor from and against any liability for loss or for damage to any property (including costs relating thereto) left, stored or transported by Renter or any other person in or upon the vehicle before or after return of the vehicle to
Hirer agrees to keep van locked when not in use
The hirer is responsible for the entertainment equipment i.e face off cds, dvd player screens etc while the vehicle is in their possession. If any unit is lost or stolen, the hirer is responsible for its replacement plus the repair of any damage caused to the vehicle during robbery. (i.e. damaged windows, damage to dash and locks).
PLEASE NOTE: ENTERTAINMENT EQUIPMENT IS SUPPLIED FREE OF CHARGE AS A COURTESY. IF FOR ANY REASON THESE ITEMS DO NOT WORK WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY
